Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Success
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned Financial Services accounts.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships while ensuring delivery of exceptional customer service and account support. Including but not limited to managing client expectations, communicate project status, solicit feedback, drive resolution of customer issues, identify opportunities for product expansion, promotional initiatives, and program enhancements that increase account revenue and strategic value.
- Conduct recurring client meetings, business reviews, and strategic discussions independently and in partnership with leadership.
Operational Execution & Program Management
- Support the Account Manager III and Director by coordinating operational activities, strategic initiatives, and departmental priorities. An example of day- to- day activities may include:
- Brand approvals
- Product setup requests
- New account and site creation
- Issue tracking and resolution
- Contract tracking and administration
- Sales reporting and analytics
- Manage platform initiatives and implementation projects across assigned accounts.
- Lead or support special projects while maintaining ownership of ongoing account responsibilities.
- Partner with technical, operations, gift card account managers, and sales teams to ensure successful implementation, launch, and ongoing management of programs and clients.
- Drive accountability across internal stakeholders to ensure customer commitments are executed accurately and on schedule.
Business Analysis & Strategic Support
- Analyze sales performance, customer trends, margins, and business results to identify risks and opportunities.
- Generate and communicate internal and external reports, dashboards, analyses, and updates for leadership and customers.
- Conduct account audits and performance reviews to identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and revenue growth.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Product, Technology, Marketing, Finance, Accounting and Legal teams.
- Serve as a trusted partner across the organization to ensure alignment on customer priorities and business objectives.
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding account performance, project status, risks, and growth opportunities.
Travel
- Up to 10% travel for client meetings and InComm conferences directed by management.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Competencies
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-starter who takes initiative, solves problems proactively, and effectively manages commitments with limited oversight.
- Strong relationship management and client-facing communication skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret sales, operational, and performance data.
- Strategic thinker who can balance long-term business objectives with day-to-day execution.
- Ability to identify risks, recommend solutions, and influence outcomes across internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Comfortable learning new technologies, products, and platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using CRM and reporting tools.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of account management, customer success, business development, or related experience.
- Experience managing medium-to-large national accounts preferred.
- Experience within technology, payments, fintech, software, eCommerce, or digital commerce environments preferred.
- Knowledge of gift card products, fulfillment solutions, financial technology services and digital payment solutions preferred.
