The role brings together brand strategy, corporate reputation, executive communications, media relations, thought leadership, internal communications, and crisis preparedness.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives while translating complex technology, business strategy, customer impact, and responsible AI leadership into compelling narratives.
The position requires an AI-forward mindset that improves intelligence, personalization, productivity, and decision-making without compromising authenticity or editorial integrity.
You will lead a global team, manage agency relationships and budgets, and connect communications investments directly to measurable business and reputation outcomes.

Accountabilities
  • Own and continuously evolve the global brand strategy, architecture, positioning, voice, and visual expression across markets, audiences, and channels.

  • Drive measurable improvements in brand awareness, consideration, preference, trust, and category leadership across priority audiences.

  • Develop and execute an integrated corporate communications strategy covering external, internal, executive, financial, media, analyst, employee, thought leadership, and crisis communications.

  • Translate company strategy, customer impact, innovation, and responsible AI initiatives into differentiated and credible narratives.

  • Act as a senior strategic advisor to executive leadership and business leaders on reputation, messaging, executive visibility, stakeholder communications, and high-stakes situations.

  • Lead proactive media relations and issues management while building strong relationships with influential journalists and preparing leaders for rapid, accurate, and thoughtful responses.

  • Direct executive communications and thought leadership, including speeches, presentations, talking points, bylined content, social media presence, and strategic visibility opportunities.

  • Shape internal communications that help employees understand organizational priorities, connect their work to strategy, and communicate consistently through periods of growth and change.

  • Guide the brand experience across corporate campaigns, digital channels, conferences, customer events, sponsorships, and executive forums in partnership with marketing and business leaders.

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, People and Culture, Investor Relations, Legal, and other functions to align messaging with business priorities and audience needs.

  • Identify and implement responsible AI applications across market intelligence, audience insights, content development, decision-making, measurement, and communications operations.

  • Establish a rigorous measurement framework covering brand health, share of voice, message pull-through, reputation, engagement, channel performance, and program impact.

  • Anticipate reputational opportunities and risks through market intelligence, stakeholder listening, scenario planning, and crisis preparedness.

  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global brand and communications organization, strengthening capabilities, collaboration, operating rhythms, speed, and accountability.

  • Manage the brand and communications budget and agency ecosystem, allocating resources toward the highest-value business and reputation outcomes.

  • Track success through increased awareness, consideration, preference, reputation, category leadership, business impact of brand investments, and responsible improvements in team productivity through AI adoption.

Requirements
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in brand, corporate communications, public relations, integrated marketing communications, or a closely related discipline.

  • Significant experience operating at VP level or an equivalent senior leadership position.

  • Strong background in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or complex technology environments; public-company experience is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success developing and evolving global brand, corporate narrative, reputation, and communications strategies at scale.

  • Deep expertise across corporate, executive, employee, media, thought leadership, and crisis communications.

  • Exceptional executive presence and judgment, with the ability to advise and influence senior leaders and represent an organization with customers, media, partners, analysts, investors, and other stakeholders.

  • Outstanding writing, storytelling, and message-development skills, including the ability to make complex technology and business concepts clear, compelling, and relevant.

  • Hands-on experience using AI-enabled tools and workflows across communications and brand operations, with a strong understanding of responsible AI use, editorial integrity, confidentiality, and brand trust.

  • Proven ability to lead organizational transformation, modernize operating models, and develop high-performing global teams across multiple locations and time zones.

  • Strong business acumen, financial management skills, measurement discipline, and the ability to connect brand and communications investments to measurable business outcomes.

  • Collaborative leadership style and demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams around shared narratives, priorities, and strategic moments.

  • Calm, decisive leadership under pressure, including experience preparing for and managing reputational issues and crisis situations.

  • Strong strategic thinking, creativity, adaptability, and ability to balance bold brand-building with disciplined execution.

Benefits
  • Full-time, fully remote opportunity available across the United States.

  • Executive-level opportunity to shape a global brand and communications function with significant organizational visibility and influence.

  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, AI, communications, brand strategy, and social impact.

  • Leadership opportunity with responsibility for building and developing a high-performing global team.

  • Ability to influence brand strategy, corporate reputation, executive visibility, and organizational communications at scale.

  • Collaborative environment with cross-functional exposure to Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, People and Culture, Investor Relations, and Legal teams.

  • Opportunity to drive responsible adoption of AI across brand and communications operations.

  • Equal opportunity and inclusive workplace committed to bringing together diverse perspectives and experiences.
