In this role, you will be responsible for developing and empowering field leadership and agency operations professionals to drive performance, strengthen sales execution, and elevate customer experience outcomes. You will act as a strategic coach and advisor, working closely with agency leaders to translate business strategy into practical, high-impact actions. Through hands-on field engagement, training delivery, and performance coaching, you will help strengthen sales capability, operational excellence, and retention across agency networks. This position blends leadership development, instructional design, and field-based consulting in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training programs align with business priorities and evolving market needs. The role is highly impactful, directly influencing agency success, productivity, and growth across assigned territories.
- Lead onboarding and training programs for agency operations managers, ensuring strong foundational knowledge and rapid readiness for field performance.
- Serve as a primary coach and strategic advisor, equipping field leaders with structured coaching frameworks, sales methodologies, and performance improvement tools.
- Conduct field visits, agency ride-alongs, and performance observations to assess execution, provide feedback, and model best practices.
- Partner with agency leaders to identify capability gaps, develop individualized development plans, and support continuous skill enhancement.
- Design, update, and maintain training materials, curricula, job aids, and digital learning resources aligned with business and product changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure training content reflects regulatory updates, operational needs, and sales strategies.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using performance metrics, feedback, and business outcomes, and recommend improvements as needed.
- Support ongoing development and progression of high-performing associates, including readiness for advanced leadership roles.
- Analyze agency performance trends and provide insights to leadership to support capability-building strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews of industry best practices and incorporate relevant updates into training programs and materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in property & casualty (P&C) insurance, sales, field leadership, training, or enablement roles.
- Strong preference for experience in commercial lines insurance environments.
- Proven experience in coaching, training, or developing field-based teams to improve performance and sales outcomes.
- Strong understanding of insurance sales processes, agency operations, and customer experience best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess performance gaps and recommend solutions.
- Ability to design or deliver structured training programs and learning content.
- High level of organization, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $108,650 to $169,125, based on experience, skills, and location.
