Custodian in Ashcroft, British Columbia at Ashcroft Terminal Ltd

Ashcroft Terminal is seeking a full-time Custodian for our growing team!

As the only private logistics terminal in Canada with CPKC & CN mainlines onsite, ATL is strategically located to help shippers, manufacturers, and producers prepare their commodities for export or import. As a member of PSA International, Ashcroft Terminal is part of a global network of supply chain professionals!

In the position of Custodian, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing general cleaning duties and ensuring the proper upkeep of facilities.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Keeping terminal office spaces and staff housing clean.
• General cleaning and housekeeping duties as required or directed by management.
• Cleaning offices, boardrooms, lunchrooms, washrooms, hallways, and other workspaces.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
• Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
• Keeping buildings free from indoor pests.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ensuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are secure after hours.
• Ensuring accurate record keeping of time spent related to ATL activities.

For success in this role, you must have:

• A valid class 5 BC Driver’s License.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong work ethic and initiative, self-motivated/self-directed, with the ability to work independently.
