Working closely with HIM leadership, compliance teams, and clinical stakeholders, this position plays a key role in maintaining regulatory alignment and operational efficiency. In this role, you will support the configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Epic HIM applications, ensuring accurate and compliant health information workflows across the organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational needs into system solutions while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.

• Support Epic HIM modules including Identity, Release of Information, and related workflows to ensure accurate patient data management.
• Gather requirements, design solutions, configure systems, and support testing and implementation of enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Epic production issues while ensuring minimal disruption to HIM operations.
• Collaborate with HIM leadership, compliance, revenue cycle, and technical teams to improve workflows and system performance.
• Participate in optimization initiatives focused on medical record integrity, documentation quality, and operational efficiency.
• Support integration of best practices and ensure alignment with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on Epic HIM experience combined with a strong understanding of health information management operations and healthcare data workflows. You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working across clinical, technical, and administrative teams.

• 3+ years of experience as an Epic HIM Analyst supporting HIM workflows in a healthcare environment.
• Active Epic Identity and Epic Release of Information (ROI) certifications (required).
• Strong knowledge of Health Information Management operations, including identity management and ROI processes.
• Experience with system configuration, requirements gathering, testing, and implementation in Epic environments.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting production issues and supporting end-user needs.
• Preferred: Epic Hospital Coding and Epic Deficiencies certifications.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, fast-paced healthcare environments.
