Are you looking for an opportunity to grow business relationships, manage client accounts, and drive sales growth within a fast-paced customer-focused environment? This Regional Account Manager role focuses on developing and maintaining customer partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting clients with product solutions and account management across a regional territory. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building, outside sales, account development, and working independently while supported by a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with current and prospective clients
- Identify customer needs and recommend products or solutions to improve operations and productivity
- Present product information, demonstrations, and sales proposals to customers
- Prepare pricing quotes, proposals, contracts, and responses to customer requests
- Manage customer accounts and assist with inventory or order-related concerns
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records within company systems
- Investigate and resolve customer issues while ensuring timely follow-up and communication
- Develop sales and territory growth strategies to increase revenue and customer retention
- Attend industry events and trade shows to support networking and business development
- Assist customers with account setup and support resolution of service or credit-related issues
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of Sales experience required
- Previous Account Management experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Results-driven mindset with a strong sense of urgency
- Comfortable building relationships and generating new business opportunities
- Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Industry-related product or distribution experience is a plus
