This role plays a key part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of complex software products used to detect and mitigate external digital threats. You will be responsible for embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle, working closely with engineers and product teams to design robust testing strategies that prevent issues before they reach production. The position emphasizes both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on regression prevention, API validation, and backend quality assurance. You will contribute to building a more structured and scalable QA function, helping ensure predictable and high-quality releases. The environment is highly collaborative and engineering-driven, with strong exposure to modern SaaS and security-focused systems. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring software quality across the full development lifecycle through structured testing, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for new features and regression testing.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define effective testing strategies based on requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
- Provide detailed and timely feedback to developers to support rapid issue resolution.
- Conduct API, backend, database, usability, boundary, and log-based testing.
- Support performance and security testing to ensure product reliability and compliance standards.
- Contribute to QA process improvements and promote best practices across the development lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and support the maintenance of automated test suites.
This role requires solid QA expertise combined with strong analytical skills and experience in testing complex software systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance roles.
- Strong experience in backend testing, API testing, database validation, and log analysis.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies including boundary, usability, and problem resolution techniques.
- Proficiency in both English and Portuguese.
- Experience working in SaaS environments or fast-paced engineering teams.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and regression suite development (preferred).
- Understanding of software quality processes in security-focused or complex technical products (preferred).
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
