Job Title: Operations Supervisor
Status: Full-Time / Exempt
Reports To: Regional Supply Operations Manager
Position Summary
Oversees daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, compliance, and strong team performance. Acts as the primary on-site leader and liaison between employees, customers, and regional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for Marquette operations.
- Oversee daily workflows; identify and resolve bottlenecks and staffing gaps.
- Lead, coach, and support a small team; assist with hiring and onboarding.
- Communicate operational issues, insights, and customer concerns to regional leadership.
- Drive process improvements and support achievement of business goals.
- Maintain facility, equipment, and supply needs.
Operations & Logistics
- Ensure equipment availability and maintenance (fleet, forklifts, etc.).
- Optimize delivery routes and ensure timely, safe service.
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and company policies.
- Partner with Manager; conduct forklift certifications and driver road tests.
- Track licenses, DOT medical cards, and driver qualifications, using approved system
Communication & Teamwork
- Prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Maintain strong communication with leadership, sales, and team members
Qualifications
Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead a small team and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
- Experience managing a site with direct reports
- MSHA, DOT, forklift experience
- Mining or industrial operations experience
