• Lesson format: Face-to-face, in-person

Details

• Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Lesson Frequency: 1 time per week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour
• Current Spanish level: Beginner
• Native/other languages: English

Student’s language needs and goals:
• Develop fluency in Spanish for everyday and professional communication
• Build a strong language foundation to support future learning of Portuguese and French
• Expand vocabulary and improve reading and writing skills
• Practice conversations with native speakers
• Learn to express opinions and share feedback confidently
• Develop job-related and business Spanish vocabulary
• Practice real-life situations such as ordering at restaurants and texting
• Learn strategies for faster and more effective language learning

Additional Information:
• Interests include reading, traveling, spending time with family, snowboarding, and golfing

Responsibilities

• Design structured beginner-level Spanish lessons focused on practical communication
• Build vocabulary through engaging, real-life scenarios
• Develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
• Incorporate business language and everyday conversational practice
• Provide effective learning strategies and regular feedback to support steady progress
• Adapt lessons to the student's interests and long-term language goals

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish
• Teaching certificate or degree in language teaching, linguistics, education, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching adult learners
• Ability to create engaging, structured, and goal-oriented lessons
• Experience teaching Business Spanish is an asset
