Staff Product Designer, Pay Ecosystem

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Product Designer, Pay Ecosystem in Poland.

Join a globally distributed design team focused on shaping the future of payroll and international employment experiences. In this role, you will lead the design vision for complex B2B SaaS products that help businesses manage and pay global teams securely and compliantly. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to create scalable, intuitive, and high-impact user experiences. The position offers the opportunity to work on strategic initiatives involving research, systems thinking, accessibility, and AI-powered design exploration. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior individual contributor who thrives in fast-paced, remote-first environments and is passionate about elevating design quality across teams. You will also help drive design excellence through mentorship, collaboration, and innovation at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end product design initiatives for a complex payroll and payments ecosystem, driving strategic UX and visual design decisions across multiple product areas.
  • Design intuitive, scalable, and accessible experiences for enterprise users, from low-fidelity concepts to polished, production-ready interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to identify customer pain points, validate solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the design system by creating reusable components and maintaining consistency across products and workflows.
  • Facilitate design critiques, workshops, and cross-functional discussions to align teams around shared goals and elevate overall design maturity.
  • Mentor peers through feedback, collaboration, and advocacy for strong design practices, usability standards, and systems thinking.
  • Use AI-driven prototyping and automation tools to accelerate ideation, experimentation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Champion accessibility, scalability, and craftsmanship while continuously improving design processes and ways of working within a remote-first culture.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong background designing enterprise-grade B2B SaaS platforms.
  • Proven expertise in user-centered design methodologies, interaction design, visual design, information architecture, and design systems.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to solve complex product challenges through scalable and thoughtful design solutions.
  • Ability to balance consistency and innovation while designing across large, interconnected product ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-growth, and distributed environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects and drive alignment across overlapping organizational priorities.
  • Familiarity with industries such as HRTech, FinTech, payroll, or compliance-focused platforms is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards, scalable component-based systems, and modern product design workflows.
  • Experience leveraging AI and automation tools within design and product development processes is considered a strong advantage.
  • Fluent written and spoken English communication skills are required.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,700 to $159,050 USD, depending on experience, skills, and location.
  • Fully remote work environment with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Flexible working hours supported by an asynchronous collaboration culture.
  • Generous paid time off and 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Comprehensive mental health and wellbeing support services.
  • Equity opportunities through stock options.
  • Dedicated learning and professional development budget.
  • Home office setup allowance and company-provided IT equipment.
  • Budget for coworking memberships and local in-person social events.
  • Strong focus on employee growth, internal mobility, and fair global compensation practices.
  • Inclusive and diverse work culture that values belonging, accessibility, and equal opportunity.
