Position Description

Job Summary

Summers-Taylor is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Concrete Division, focused on order management and customer support. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments involving order entry, coordination, and customer interaction.

As the primary point of contact for our customers, you’ll be responsible for taking and managing orders, coordinating delivery details, and providing outstanding service from start to finish. While the role supports concrete operations, no prior concrete experience is required—our team will train you on the industry.

We’re looking for professionals who can multitask, stay organized under pressure, and deliver excellent customer experiences in a high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Take, enter, and manage customer orders in real time
  2. Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction
  3. Accurately enter, update, and track orders in scheduling and dispatch systems
  4. Communicate order details clearly with customers and internal teams
  5. Manage changes, updates, and urgent requests as they arise
  6. Work closely with dispatch and plant teams to ensure timely service
  7. Resolve customer questions, concerns, and issues quickly and professionally
  8. Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  9. Assist with customer account questions and payments when needed

Qualifications

  3. Dispatch or construction experience is a plus, but not required
  4. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  5. Valid driver’s license required
  6. Must pass drug screen, physical, and background check

Work Environment Expectations

  4. Overtime and weekend work as needed
