Mechanical Assembler in Hobart, Wisconsin at EMT International

Hobart, WI | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

EMT International is looking for a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to join our Contract Manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products while working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions
• Perform fitting, alignment, and adjustment of components
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with packaging, crating, and other production-related tasks as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in manufacturing or contract manufacturing preferred
• Ability to use hand tools, drills, torque tools, and measuring equipment
• Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• ERP/MRP experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus
