STX is currently searching for a unique individual to assist with leading our warehouse operations. To be successful in this position, you must be able to seamlessly execution the strategic plan provided by the Operations Team on a daily basis. The role of Warehouse Shift Lead is responsible for planning, implementing and controlling the shipping and value added services operations of the warehouse with the purpose of satisfying customer requirements as efficiently as possible. This includes supervising and directing activities of the warehouse facility in these two departments, which involves overseeing team performance, expediting and ensuring efficient, organized movement of production orders.

Requirements:

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

· Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure orders are picked, packed, staged, and loaded accurately and on time.

· Plan, schedule, and prioritize VAS activities such as kitting, labeling, re-packaging, light assembly, quality checks, or customization tasks.

· Oversee daily small-parcel delivery operations (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and manage the reverse logistics process, including return inspections and required follow up.

· Pre-screen for recruitment, train and supervise warehouse associates in a highly seasonal environment to meet headcount levels.

· Assign tasks, monitor and inspire workplace performance by carrying out warehouse and team SMART goals in collaboration with Operations management and other team leads.

· Ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment and tools.

· Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA standards.

· Establish and maintain warehouse practices and protocols.

· Audit and report inventory while making restocking recommendations.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED.

· 2+ years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role managing hourly employees.

· Proven success in developing and upgrading streamlined processes through automation and process improvement.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

· Desire to work within a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to set goals, motivate and manage conflict.

· Effective communication skills with excellent active-listening ability.

· Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities.

· In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse.

· Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices and logistics.

· Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications.

· Physical stamina and the ability to walk or stand throughout the shift.
