What You’ll Do

As an LVT in our Emergency and ICU departments, you’ll play a vital role in delivering advanced, compassionate care. You will:

  • Support our board-certified criticalist with advanced procedures and treatments
  • Monitor and assess critically ill patients, ensuring timely interventions
  • Perform anesthesia for patients with complex needs
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding patient status and care plans
  • Accurately maintain patient records and comply with hospital protocols
  • Help foster a positive, team-driven work environment
  • Take advantage of professional development opportunities to sharpen your skills and stay current in veterinary medicine
Requirements:

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment
  • Ability to physically restrain all sizes of pets
  • Ability to grasp, hold, and manipulate objects
  • Possess vision abilities to detect, observe, and assess including close, distance, color and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Potential exposure to anesthetic gases
  • Potential exposure to zoonotic diseases
