The Vice President, Agentic Systems will provide strategic and technical leadership for the development of next-generation AI agent systems. This role requires close collaboration across data science, engineering, cybersecurity, and business teams to define vision, accelerate innovation, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Lead the research, development, and deployment strategy for advanced agentic systems and AI-driven workflows.
- Define the long-term vision, roadmap, and success metrics for agent-based technologies.
- Build and lead high-performing technical teams focused on AI research, machine learning, and applied systems development.
- Partner with cybersecurity experts to understand analyst workflows and operational challenges, translating them into AI-enabled solutions.
- Develop systems that automate complex security processes using AI agents and coordinated agent workflows.
- Drive research into new approaches for agentic planning, reasoning, and intelligent automation.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, managed services, and executive stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business priorities.
- Establish operational frameworks, governance practices, and scalable processes for agentic systems.
- Influence technical strategy and innovation across the organization through strong leadership and communication.
- Represent AI initiatives with senior leaders and technical teams, building alignment across diverse stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is an experienced AI and data science executive with a strong background in machine learning, technical leadership, and building innovative systems. They should demonstrate the ability to define strategy, lead complex initiatives, and communicate effectively across technical and executive audiences.
- 12+ years of experience in data science, computational research, machine learning, or related technical disciplines.
- Proven experience leading high-impact technical teams and delivering advanced AI solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing AI agents, agentic systems, or intelligent automation platforms.
- Experience managing objective-driven data science initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Strong understanding of AI research methodologies, machine learning systems, and emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, security operations, or threat research environments is highly valuable.
- Ability to establish technical vision, influence architecture decisions, and drive innovation.
- Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to engage engineers, researchers, executives, and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly collaborative environments.
- Competitive base salary range of $320,000–$370,000 annually, plus variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
