Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Aberdeen Dynamics is a full-service motion and control solutions provider with over 50 years of experience. We specialize in fluid power design, hydraulic systems, pneumatic control, and electro-mechanical solutions. Our expertise serves industries like oil and gas, rigging and recovery, power generation, construction, manufacturing, process and pipeline. We are trusted for engineering solutions and are known for designing and fabricating custom hydraulic power units, hydraulic valve actuators, and hydraulic winch packages.

The Director of Supply Chain leads the organization’s end-to-end supply chain strategy, including procurement, planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, distribution, and Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP). This role focuses on improving service levels, reducing costs, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring supply chain operations align with business goals through disciplined cross-functional planning and execution.

  • The employee will primarily work in an office environment with a business casual dress code.
  • The employee will maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent tripping hazards and ergonomic issues.
  • The employee will follow company policies for workstation ergonomics, including proper chair height, monitor placement, and screen time breaks.
  • The employee will adhere to all IT and data security protocols to ensure safe handling of digital files and equipment.

Physical Demands

  • The employee will occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must possess good physical dexterity and be able to perform manual tasks and body movement.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to adjust visual focus.
  • The employee may be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • This job requires an extensive amount of typing and use of hands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Oversee procurement, demand planning, inventory control, transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
  • Lead the SIOP process by aligning demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial plans with executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation, performance management, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Use data, KPIs, and forecasting to optimize inventory, reduce waste, and improve service levels.
  • Partner with operations, finance, sales, and leadership teams to align supply chain plans with business priorities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supply chain teams while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Freight, warehousing, and logistics cost performance
  • SIOP process adherence, decision execution, and plan-versus-actual performance
  • Continuous improvement savings and operational productivity gains

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, operations, logistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant leadership experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, or operations.
  • Strong knowledge of SIOP, ERP systems, vendor management, inventory planning, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, negotiate effectively, and deliver measurable operational results.
