Job Description

We’re looking for compassionate Registered Nurses who are dedicated to providing thoughtful, respectful care to individuals and their families. In this role, you’ll support patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, assist surgeons and the surgical team, monitor patient status, and ensure safe, high-quality care throughout the surgical experience. You’ll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and their families to promote positive outcomes.

Patient Care & Treatment

Offer holistic and patient-centered nursing care, focusing on the unique needs of individuals and their families with a positive and respectful approach that aligns with the hospital's values. Provide attentive perioperative care, assist during surgical procedures, and support recovery with clear communication and compassionate care.

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our surgical and interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-focused services and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure to practice in California

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing with:

  • Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience within the past two years OR

  • Two (2) years acute care experience within the past three years

  • Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacology test with a minimum score of 80%

  • BLS certification required and maintained

  • ACLS certification required within 1 year of employment and maintained thereafter

  • PALS certification required within 1 year of employment and maintained thereafter

  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language

  • Must demonstrate Service Excellence in interactions with patients, families, and coworkers

  • Ability to provide positive leadership aligned with hospital and nursing department goals
