Associate, Instructional Design

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate, Instructional Design based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to create impactful digital learning experiences that support professionals in advancing brain health research and clinical outcomes.
The successful candidate will design, refine, and maintain engaging e-learning materials that translate complex scientific content into accessible training programs.
You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, applying adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.

Accountabilities:

The Associate, Instructional Design will support the creation, delivery, quality assurance, and ongoing improvement of digital training materials. This role requires strong attention to detail, an understanding of adult learning methodologies, and the ability to transform technical information into polished and effective learning experiences.

  • Develop and refine e-learning courses and training materials using content provided by internal scientific subject matter experts.
  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning best practices to create engaging educational experiences.
  • Ensure training materials align with brand guidelines, quality standards, and internal processes.
  • Review, edit, and update course content based on feedback from stakeholders and product changes.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of training materials.
  • Participate in peer reviews and provide quality feedback on courses developed by other instructional designers.
  • Update learning content during product releases and ongoing improvement cycles.
  • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Stay current with Articulate Storyline 360 updates, tools, and emerging e-learning development practices.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has experience developing digital learning solutions and can confidently transform complex source materials into clear, engaging training programs. Strong technical skills, attention to quality, and the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts are essential for success in this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience developing e-learning or digital training materials.
  • Advanced experience with Articulate Storyline 360, including familiarity with its latest features and tools.
  • Experience independently developing courses from source materials such as SME documentation, presentations, scripts, or technical content.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong editing, organization, and quality assurance skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with technical and scientific stakeholders.
  • Experience creating training content for external audiences or complex industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, clinical research, or technology is a plus.
