About This Position

Florida based food manufacturing organization seeks an HR Generalist to provide a variety of HR-related duties. The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for supporting the organization’s human resources (HR) department with a strong focus on recruitment coordination, onboarding, HRIS processes, and employee lifecycle administration. This role will partner with the recruiting team to ensure seamless hiring and provide metric reporting and functional support for ADP workflows and projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the recruiting team to coordinate hiring for open production positions, ensuring a smooth process from requisition through offer acceptance.
  • Conduct/facilitate new hire orientations weekly onsite to include presenting on various topics such as company policies, benefits, safety etc.
  • Manage the onboarding process, including verification of I-9 documentation and E-Verify, preparation of new hire paperwork.
  • Post positions, review applicant qualifications and review./coordinate with managers.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors regarding the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate and clean reporting metrics to track recruitment progress and other hiring KPIs.
  • Ensure data integrity within ADP and maintain accurate records in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate inter-company (Plant to Plant) transfers, ensuring timely updates to employee/supervisors during each step in the process for a smooth transition.
  • Provide training and support to managers on ADP workflows, including approvals, transactions, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to support routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, leaves of absence, disciplinary matters, investigations and performance, etc.
  • Support managers and employees with the Alchemy training system, including password resets, troubleshooting and assigning required training.
  • Assist with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • This role is not eligible for remote work and reports Monday through Friday normal business hours.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing organization preferred
  • Experience using ADP preferred
  • 2 to 3 years of human resource management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
