Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) at IVA'AL Solutions, LLC – Madison Heights, Virginia

We are seeking a qualified Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice in the U.S., District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory. Candidates must also hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (local time), excluding federal holidays.
  
• Includes a 30-minute meal/rest break (not billable if worked through).
  
• Position averages 30 hours per week, not to exceed 1,560 hours annually.
  
• Work schedule will be determined by the Clinical Director or designee.
  
• Candidates are expected to work 100% of contracted hours.
  

Primary Duties

• Perform clinical duties as a provider, including history taking, physical examination, ordering and interpreting laboratory/x-ray procedures, synthesizing clinical data, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans.
  
• Prescribe medications and provide clear information and support to patients and their families during times of illness.
  
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  
• Determine when referral to a specialist is necessary for unusual cases.
  
• Arrange hospital admissions for patients as needed.
  
• Render patient care for same-day clinic appointments.
  
• Participate in Quality Assurance/Risk Management activities and support AAAHC accreditation activities as assigned.
  
• Take part in ongoing educational programs for health professionals.
  
• Attend medical staff meetings and participate in service unit meetings or in-services as requested.
  
• Abide by all Health Center policies, including rules and regulations of the medical staff.
  
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Employees must provide proof of identity and documents supporting their legal authorization

to work in the United States. Employees will also submit to a full background check and will be

processed for the DoD Tier 1 investigation and must be favorably adjudicated.
