About This Position
Are you the kind of person who loves figuring out how to figure things out?
Faber and Brand, a growing legal services firm, is looking for a tech-minded problem solver to join our expanding I.T. team. We’re not looking for a person with every certification under the sun — we’re looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, building smart solutions, and collaborating across teams to get results.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain “if/then” logic workflows and automation to streamline legal and business processes
- Use tools like Power Automate, Excel formulas, and web-crawling logic to build automation that improve accuracy and efficiency
- Help build internal solutions tied to our case management system (QLAW) and other platforms
- Work closely with attorneys, operations managers, and outside vendors to design solutions that meet business and legal requirements
- Coordinate with our managed I.T. provider (who handles Azure and endpoint maintenance) on implementation tasks as needed
- Support ticket resolution and process improvement project
Why Join Us?
Faber and Brand is growing fast — and so is our I.T. team. You’ll be at the heart of transforming how a legal business runs through technology. This is a role with plenty of room to grow, learn, and leave your mark.
Salary Range and benefits:
- $37,000 to $55,000 per year - dependent on experience.
- Casual Dress Code
- 401(k) with matching
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- HSA matching
- Paid holidays
- Paid time off
- Flexible schedule, including work from home options
What We're Looking For:
- A jack-of-all-trades approach to I.T. — someone who may not know everything but knows how to figure it out
- Working knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, scripting tools, web scraping basics)
- Familiarity with logic building (e.g., “if/then” rules, flow design, basic scripting or low-code platforms)
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and apply creative thinking to complex, often legally sensitive problems
- Strong collaboration and communication skills — you'll be working directly with attorneys and operations teams
Nice to Have (but not required):
- Experience with legal tech or case management systems (especially QLAW)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Power BI, or related platforms
- Background in business process improvement, data management, or compliance-sensitive industries
