About This Position
This position is responsible for ensuring good relationships with the organization’s vendors by processing invoices, issuing payments via check or electronic transfer, reconciling vendor statements and reviewing credit card payments.
Onsite position: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform various AP functions including the day-to-day entry and processing of vendor bills, vendor account reconciliation, processing & coding of EFT and credit card transactions, employee reimbursements, and weekly check run
- Collect and maintain vendor and subcontractor account information, including W9 verification, and issue annual 1099-NEC/MISC statements
- Perform daily cash management duties including recording of bank deposits, posting cash receipts, and updating ledgers
- Review credit card expenditures, resolving credit card payment issues and discrepancies, and ensuring that credit card payments are posted to the general ledger
- Ability to review, edit and intelligently discuss financial matters with supervisors
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Minimum 2 – 3 years AP and/or General Ledger experience
- Experience with banking platforms for issuing, retrieving and verifying payments.
- Current negative TB test
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Must be at least 18 years old
