About the role

Alpha Hormones® is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. We are currently looking for a provider available two days per week, with in-person clinic hours on Fridays at our Pasadena location (commute required), and remote/telehealth work on Mondays from 9am-6pm.There is potential to expand to a full-time role as your patient panel grows and based on performance.This is a W-2 position. DO NOT APPLY if you want a 1099.You will be part of a progressive medical practice focused on hormone optimization, longevity, metabolic health, and advanced wellness therapies including aesthetic procedures. You’ll work alongside a team of experienced providers, contributing to personalized treatment plans that help patients achieve optimal health and vitality.

What you'll do

Conduct comprehensive new patient consultations focused on hormone therapy, weight optimization, peptide therapy, and wellness treatments.Manage ongoing follow-up visits, monitor treatment progress, and adjust protocols as needed.Educate patients on treatment options, lifestyle optimization, and integrative approaches to support long-term wellness.Interpret lab results and incorporate findings into personalized care plans.Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and virtual care teams to deliver high-touch, patient-centered care.Document visits accurately in our EMR and ensure clinical compliance.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hormone therapy, peptides, metabolic health, and longevity treatments through continuing education and training.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted NP or PA license and DEA registration in the state of California. Additional licensure in states such as Florida, Texas, and other states is a plus.3+ years of clinical experience in a primary care, functional medicine, integrative medicine, endocrinology, weight management, med spa, aesthetic medicine or related field.Experience and/or strong interest in hormone therapy (TRT / BHRT), peptide therapy, weight loss treatments, and wellness medicine preferred.Experience in med spa or aesthetic medicine is desired. Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.Comfortable using EMR systems and other technologiesProfessional, compassionate, and dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Schedule

Two days per week from 9am to 6pm: 8-hour shift on Fridays in-person at our Pasadena clinic; remote/telehealth shift on Mondays with possible transition to full-time after 3-6 months.
