Registered Agency Nurse in Swallowfield, England at Gabriels Care and Nursing Agency

Overview:
As a Registered Agency Nurse, you will work closely with healthcare staff to deliver high-quality care to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will actively participate in bedside nursing care, oversee care plans, and administer medications in accordance with professional standards. Reporting to the Nurse-in-Charge or Clinical Nurse, you will also liaise with other professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver bedside nursing care, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.

• Administer medications in collaboration with another trained nurse, reporting discrepancies as needed.

• Observe and document changes in residents’ conditions in their care records.

• Assist in reviewing and updating care plans, suggesting improvements as required.

• Maintain professional conduct, including strict boundaries with residents.

• Liaise with healthcare teams and significant others for integrated care delivery.

• Attend mandatory training and receive supervision to enhance clinical skills.

Reporting & Supervision:
You will report to the Nurse-in-Charge or Clinical Nurse and be supervised by the Operations Manager, while managing your workload within agreed systems and deadlines.

Job Requirements:

• Essential Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN/RMN-MH) with NMC registration (Degree level or equivalent).

  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.

  • Relevant healthcare experience, with RCN qualification preferred.

• Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to teach junior staff and plan therapeutic activities.

  • Competent IT skills and organizational abilities.

• Personal Attributes:

  • Commitment to professional nursing standards.

  • Flexibility, teamwork, and resilience under pressure.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Compensation:

§ Monday to Friday Day Rate: £28.00 per hour

§ Monday to Friday Night Rate: £28.50 per hour

§ Weekend Day Rate: £32.00 per hour

§ Weekend Night Rate: £32.00 per hour
