Female Paediatric Complex Care Specialist Regional Support Team
North East Region Newcastle ,Gateshead ,North and South Tyneside & Sunderland
14.56 per hour (including holiday pay) + 30p per mile
Shifts Available:
- 12h days and nights
- Weekend availability required

Join Our Paediatric Regional Complex Care TeamRoutes Healthcare is expanding its specialist Paediatric Regional Complex Care Team across the North East and is looking for dedicated Complex Care Specialists to support children and young people with complex healthcare needs.
This is not standard domiciliary care. You'll be delivering specialist clinical care, working within a dedicated team supporting complex paediatric care packages across the region.
The RoleYou will support children and young adults with complex healthcare needs, including:
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning and airway management
- Ventilation support
- Complex personal care
- Neurological and spinal injury support
- Clinical observations and monitoring
- Promoting independence, well being and quality of life
- Working within specialist 1:1 and 2:1 care packages
Travel across the North East is required, with mileage reimbursement provided.

RequirementsEssential:
- Minimum 6 months' paid UK care experience
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- Compassionate, reliable and professional approach
Desirable:
- Previous paediatric care experience
- Tracheostomy, suctioning or ventilation experience
- Complex care experience
- Spinal injury or neurological care experience
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
