PIPE WELDER (Fabrication Facility) in Monroe, North Carolina at Republic Refrigeration Incorporated

The Welder welds together metal components of various metal types as specified by documents, sketches, drawings or verbal direction, using arc-welding equipment. Capable of certifying on welding processes GTAW and SMAW using company-approved welding procedure specifications (WPS). Ability to perform work activities with minimum supervision.

• Take and pass a company welding test (2" schedule 80 carbon steel pipe 6G position)
• Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
• Set-up and operate various types of arcwelding and cutting equipment.
• Plan work and select proper tools.
