Scheduling Coordinator at Highland Dental - Full Time

Responsibilities include:

• Reception--greeting patients in person and answering phone calls
• Patient Scheduling using practice management Software
• Presentation of Treatment Plans prepared by the doctor
• Calling or looking up patient insurance benefits
• Entering in insurance plans in management software
• Submitting and reconciling Insurance claims
• Collecting of patient payments and posting to patients ledger
• Participation in meetings with doctor and staff
• Handling incoming and outgoing referrals, scanning, documenting and charting patient information
• Willingness to work until 7:00 p.m. one to two days a week

Personal skills desired:

• Previous experience of 1 + years in the dental field--knowledge of procedures, terminology, and dental insurance required
• Dentrix experience preferred but not required
