Bartender at The Hollywood Tavern – Woodinville, Washington

The Bartender position is primarily responsible for preparing and providing beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and craft cocktails in an environment that enhances and contributes positively to The Hollywood Tavern dining experience.

The Bartender has responsibility for the following:

1. Demonstrating a customer-first attitude and living The Hollywood Tavern’s culture, values and mission.
2. Preparing beverages and cocktails according to Hollywood Tavern recipe standards.
3. Pouring and serving beer and wine according to Hollywood Tavern recipe and presentation standards.
4. Greeting, engaging, and serving guests seated at the bar.
5. Assisting server and other Front of House staff with beverage running.
6. Keeping the bar area cleaned and well stocked.
7. Taking out trash, recycle, and compost as needed.
8. Refilling water glasses and bottles.
9. Checking bathrooms on a regular basis to make sure they are clean and stocked.
10. Assisting with all housekeeping tasks, including stocking inventory, dusting, periodic deep cleaning, emptying trash and other tasks as assigned.

Demonstrate ability to:

4. Effectively work with guests.
5. Competently prepare multiple drinks in a timely manner.
6. Take direction from others as well as work independently.
7. Understand and demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws, including carding anyone under 30.
8. Maintain current required alcohol and food handler’s permits and demonstrate knowledge of current regulations.
9. Must be 21 years of age or older.
10. Regular and punctual attendance.
11. Available to work shifts at varying hours as need arises.
12. May require being on your feet for long periods of time.
13. Comfortable working with cash and credit card transactions.

Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and repetitive hand and wrist motion. At times, includes working outdoors in various temperatures. This position includes work with sharp and hazardous equipment as well as work with phones, computers and other electronic equipment.
