LOCATION SUMMARY:

Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. JOB SUMMARY:

Assists in planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and in coordinating nursing care activities with other health care disciplines under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed vocational nurse (LVN). Works as a team with other staff members to achieve patient care objectives. Identifies and seeks solutions for any clinical problems and reports them to the affected department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Medical Assistant (CMA) certification: Preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required

• Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP within six months of hire: Preferred

• Phlebotomy certificate: Preferred
