Registered Nurse - Float** Sign On Bonus in Hannibal, Missouri at Hannibal Regional Hospital

**This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus or tuition repayment of up to $20,000**

The Float Pool RN will be flexible and oriented to Med Surg/Pediatrics, Med Tele, ICU, Inpatient Rehab, Step Down, and Emergency departments and will maintain their competencies in each of the departments to perform independently or with minimum guidance as appropriate to individual departments Scope of Care.

Performs patient condition and age-specific physical, psychological, and social assessments, formulates a nursing diagnosis, and then develops a plan of care that includes individualized treatment strategies. Manages, organizes, and provides direct patient care incorporating clinical decision making and prioritization of activities. Education of patient, patient’s family, and other healthcare team members is also provided, incorporating health maintenance, disease process, and discharge planning.

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing required
• Two years RN experience required
• Current licensure as professional registered nurse in Missouri or licensure eligible required
• Maintains basic life support validation
• Successful implementation of nursing knowledge/process
• Demonstrates skill in area of specialty

• ACLS within six (6) months

This position requires physical abilities testing.
