Histotechnologist - Dermatology in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a PRN Histotechnologist to join the team at the CMH Dermatology Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri.

The Dermatology Clinic diagnoses and treats a wide range of skin conditions including skin cancer and precancerous growth, acne, warts, and psoriasis, lesions, skin infections, and atropic dermatitis. Cosmetic services and treatments are also available.

A typical day for the Histotechnologist includes preparing and examining samples and specimens to test for particular conditions or anomalies.

The position is PRN, days.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Histology from an accredited institution
• Experience: One year grossing experience including complex specimens and MOHS technician experience is preferred.
• Skills: Attention to detail, verbal and non-verbal communication, and fine motor skills
• Licensure/Certification: ASCP certification, or the ability to obtain ASCP certification within 6 months of employment, is required
