About This Position

Position Description: The Role of a Clinician at Bettys
A Bettys clinician is a forward-thinking clinical leader whose primary responsibility is caring for patients within the Bettys framework, including adherence to Bettys clinical guidelines as well as providing the highest quality of care within our unique care plan model.

Betty's full-time clinicians work a hybrid schedule of three days in-clinic, delivering visits in Betty's stylish mobile clinic, and two days remote/work-from-home, delivering visits via Betty's telehealth platform. A Betty's full-time clinician's weekly schedule includes every other Saturday, with alternating Mondays off.

Bettys clinicians report to the Betty's Lead Clinician and Bettys Medical Director.

Primary Responsibilities
Please note the following is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties required for this position.
  • Serve as primary clinical provider in both virtual and in-clinic settings
  • Provide well-woman and gynecological problem visits; diagnose, treat, and triage mental health needs; consult on wellness and healthy living
  • Maintain fluency with, and utilization of, Bettys clinical guidelines for integrating gynecology, wellness, and behavioral health
  • Support the establishment of Bettys referral network in San Antonio
  • Assist with managing clinical staff, including but not limited to care coordinators and clinical support staff
  • Work collaboratively with care coordinator on patient care plans
  • Engage in and foster a collaborative relationship with behavioral health and counseling partners
  • Perform patient visits at approximately 90% capacity
Basic Qualifications
  • Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • NP/ PA Certification and TX license required
  • Experience in womens health including LARC methods
  • Experience screening, diagnosing, and treating behavioral health conditions
  • Experience working in care teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of clinical practice experience
  • Experience in adolescent health
  • Experience using electronic clinical systems
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position starts at $105,000 and is negotiable based on experience. In addition, the compensation package includes:
  • Paid time off (PTO) earned on an accrual basis equal to 3 weeks (120 hours) annually
  • Continued education reimbursement of $1500.00 annually
  • Options to enroll in medical coverage
  • Participation in Bettys Provider Incentive Bonus Plan
