Clinical Educator [Med/Surg.] in Liberty, Missouri at Liberty Hospital

SUMMARY: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Clinical Educator is responsible for coordinating and conducting nursing professional development and education services for staff in clinical areas. The Clinical Educator facilitates employee development through support of various nursing initiatives and ongoing communication and collaboration with leadership.

Required Education/Training: BSN or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience: Minimum three (3) years recent bedside or clinical nursing experience; recent experience using Microsoft Office products
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
Preferred Experience: Recent clinical education experience in an acute care setting
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Specialty nursing certification; ACLS; PALS; TNCC
