Job purpose

The Solutions Consultant is responsible for identifying, engaging, and cultivating relationships with prospective BELAY clients throughout the sales cycle. This role focuses on managing inbound leads while executing proactive prospecting strategies to drive new client acquisition and generate net new business for BELAY. ​​​​​​

Duties and responsibilities

As a BELAY Corporate Team member, you will professionally represent the company in all virtual and in-person interactions. You are expected to exemplify our mission, vision and core values daily, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.

  • Meet or exceed monthly quotas for new client contracts through a mix of inbound lead management and proactive prospecting, emphasizing the value of BELAY Virtual Services.
  • Execute daily prospecting activities that generate approximately 35% of total monthly new client wins.
  • Maintain a healthy and balanced sales pipeline, accurately forecasting results and reporting progress toward monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Partner with the Revenue Coordinator to ensure sales materials and resources remain current, relevant, and aligned with market needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Client Success and Operations, to ensure a seamless client handoff and onboarding experience
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound leads, providing timely follow-up and engagement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospects throughout the sales cycle—from initial lead through close (won or lost).
  • Develop and execute effective strategies to secure new client contracts and drive revenue growth.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass revenue and prospect activity goals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all sales activities, tasks, and communications within the CRM.
  • Conduct engaging virtual sales calls via phone or video conferencing platforms that effectively move prospects toward close.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in web conferencing tools such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams, and similar platforms.
  • Stay informed on BELAY’s evolving service offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position solutions and drive growth

Agreement Creation and Correspondence

  • Prepare accurate and complete client agreements for assigned opportunities.
  • Serve as backup for agreement creation as needed to support team continuity.
  • Ensure all implementation fees, payment terms, and related setup details are accurately processed for newly contracted clients.

CRM

  • Create and manage opportunities for all assigned prospects within the CRM, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Complete all CRM tasks and update contact records daily to support effective sales management and marketing insights.
  • Maintain up-to-date records by closing out all “today” and “past due” tasks at the end of each business day.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that drive lead generation and sustain a healthy sales funnel.
  • Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to align sales activities and partnership objectives with overall organizational goals.

Travel: Minimum of 25% required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of sales or related experience
  • Ability to connect quickly and build relationships with clients
  • Meta-performer, results-driven, and hungry to crush the goals
  • Demonstrates responsiveness and professionalism, owns the details, is organizationally savvy, and conducts relational selling at all times

Working conditions

BELAY Corporate offers full-time remote work, requiring a dedicated, distraction-free home office for standard Monday-Friday business hours, with occasional travel for some roles. As a full-time/part-time, exempt/non-exempt W-2 employee, you'll join a vibrant, award-winning company culture where you're a valued, engaged team player in a thriving organization.

Salary Range

Starting pay of $18 per hour with an OTE of $132,000 per year
