TECH-CMH HOS Med/Surg at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to care for our patients in our Medical Surgical department.

The Med/Surg unit is a fast-paced, well-rounded department that provides care for both medical and surgical patients. Patients receiving orthopedic surgeries are commonly cared for in our department, but we also care for patients receiving a variety of gynecological, urological, and abdominal procedures. Medical patients present with a variety of illnesses including: sepsis, UTIs, pneumonia, wound care, COPD, CHF, and so much more. The tech to patient ratio is usually 1:7.

A typical day will include: will include obtaining vital signs, assisting patients with ADLs, ambulating, working through admits and discharges as they move through the unit, and working with a great team of upbeat nursing staff.

The position is Per Requested Need.

Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or higher (Preferred)

Experience: None needed… as we provide on the job training!

Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills,

Licensure/Certification: CPR Certification (we provide this if needed). It is not a requirement for you to be a Certified Nurse Assistant-- however, if you are, this is a plus!
