Janitor/Housekeeper at PCPPC INC. – Cleveland, Ohio

Position Title: Janitor/Housekeeper

Pay Rate: $16-$17/hour

Hours: 8am to 5Pm, M-F and Holidays as needed.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Professionally clean and maintain the apartment community to luxury standards.
• Vacuum, mop, clean windows, remove trash, clean appliances, clean elevator tracks and dust in all common areas.
• Clean and sanitize coffee machines.
• Clean Fitness Center.
• Freshen vacant apartments, leasing office and clubroom.
• Vacuum, mop, clean windows, remove trash, clean appliances and dust.
• Clean and sanitize the restrooms in the office, clubroom and pool areas.
• Wipe appliances and clean up detergent remains in the laundry room.
• Assist in all other duties as assigned.
• Keep the property, management office, help with inspecting property each morning and picking up any trash littering the grounds.
• Keep mail rooms clean--pick up trash, sweep floors, remove dated notices from bulletin boards, etc.
• Replace lightbulbs in common areas and breezeways as needed.
• Assist with apartment make-readies as requested--trash vacant units, clean appliances to make move in ready.
• Clean air conditioning vents and dryer filters.
• Clean pool area--hose down area, pick up trash, straighten chairs, etc.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician as requested
• Stock and maintain an inventory of all cleaning products.
• Keep the exterior of community clean and free of debris.
• Operate floor buffing machine.
• Assist in all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• May need to assist in after-hours emergencies when necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb stairs on a regular basis.
• Excellent customer service skills.
