Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Purpose of Position:
The Sanitation Associate has primary responsibility for ensuring the egg processing room is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to meet all food safety and quality standards. This role is essential to creating a safe, efficient, and compliant processing environment by maintaining cleanliness across equipment, surfaces, and work areas.

Essential Duties:
- Clean, wash, and sanitize all processing room equipment, surfaces, floors, and work areas according to Westfield sanitation procedures and regulatory requirements
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble processing equipment as needed
- Operate sanitation tools and equipment safely and efficiently (hoses, foaming systems, pressure washers, etc.)
- Inspect the processing area and equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for production
- Remove waste and ensure proper disposal according to company procedures
- Identify and report any maintenance, safety, or equipment issues to the Lebanon Operations Manager
- Follow all safety, food safety, and biosecurity protocols at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Work Schedule:
- Part time hours that can be scheduled Monday–Thursday, between the hours of 4 pm and 9 pm. The amount of hours may vary based on the level of cleaning needed each day.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in sanitation or food production preferred but not required.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions:
This position requires frequent standing and movement throughout the facility, with occasional walking, climbing stairs or ladders, reaching, handling objects, and communicating. Sitting may be required at times. Employees must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly. Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus. The work environment may involve occasional exposure to airborne particles, chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, moving machinery, vibration, and temperature extremes. Noise levels typically range from moderate to loud.
