APP - Palliative Care at Hendrick Medical Center – Abilene, Texas

JOB SUMMARY

• Advanced Nurse Practitioners will practice independently and in collaboration with Hospice Care physicians and IDT members. While providing quality patient care, will establish and maintain appropriate patient/provider relationships with a wide variety of inpatient and community residents.

• Minimum Work Experience
  • 1 Years
• Required Licenses/Certifications
  • Accredited Advanced Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • Current Texas Driver’s License
  • CPR
• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Ability to carry out obligations and duties of position
  • Understand the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual concerns/problems of terminally ill patients and families
  • Accountable to Medical Director for clinical/medical oversight and professional services
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Effectively directs personnel as appropriate
  • Strong computer skills
