Hospitality Coordinator at Ada Bible Church – Grand Rapids, Michigan

Ada Bible Church is looking for a part-time Hospitality Coordinator who is passionate about delivering friendly, warm, and welcoming guest experiences for everyone who enters our doors. Hospitality is core to what we do at Ada Bible Church, and we strive to show guests they are cared for beyond just a generic welcome. We hope to show guests they can belong to a community who genuinely loves people and loves Jesus.

As a Hospitality Coordinator, you will organize and lead hospitality volunteers. These volunteers serve on a regular rotation to provide excellent guest experiences through relational hospitality. This is a part-time position offered at up to 25 hours per week and includes weekend work.

What you will do:

• Create a warm and welcoming, guest-focused environment at an assigned campus
• Recruit, train, and develop hospitality volunteers
• Coach hospitality volunteer team leads as they train and mentor new volunteers
• Equip volunteers with resources to carry out hospitality objectives
• Schedule volunteer rotations and maintain volunteer schedule
• Monitor hospitality supply inventory and maintain database
• Collaborate with Event Services and ministry teams to plan and prepare for major campus ministry events

• You lead with hospitality as you interact with others
• You know how to create excellent guest or customer experiences
• You enjoy leading others to accomplish goals
• You are a clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
• You are organized, efficient, and attentive to details
• You are a committed Christian who exhibits a thriving relationship with Jesus
• You earned a high-school diploma or GED
• You are available to work most weekends as well as a couple days during the week
