About This Position
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Labor & Delivery
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provides technical assistance during antepartum / intrapartum monitoring, delivery and recovery. Utilizes sterile technique during procedures/delivery to ensure quality patient care and safety. Provides direct and indirect nursing care for the neonate to the adult patient

QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or military equivalent. Experience as required and provided for in the training program.
- Certification highly preferred.
- If you graduated after 1/1/08 you must be certified. All candidates that graduated prior to 1/1/08 will be eligible for consideration. Surgical technologists that are not certified may be hired but must obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
