Referee/Umpire in Laurinburg, North Carolina at Scotland, County of (NC)

Officiates various sporting events, games, and competitions to maintain standards of play.

Ensures game rules are observed.

Signals participants and other officials to make them aware of infractions and to regulate play.

Communicates effectively with recreation staff, coaches, and participants.

Maintains a safe playing environment.

Must be eighteen (18) years of age.

Customer Service experience including problem solving and conflict resolution

Exceptions to the minimum age are provided if the candidate has a Youth Employment Certification from the NC Department of Labor.

Minors may be employed on a Part-Time, Seasonal, or Intern basis.

Criminal Records check, drug screen, and references will be required for the successful candidate;
