About This Position

Maintenance AttendantDepartment: Property Operations

Schedule: As operations require, including weekends and statutory holidays

About the RoleAs a Maintenance Attendant at Pacific Sands, you’ll help keep our resort operating at its best—inside and out. You’ll take pride in solving problems, repairing, and maintaining the property so that our guests can enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay. From small fixes to larger projects, every task you do helps create the welcoming environment we’re known for.

What You’ll Do Provide friendly, 5-star service to all guests and staff

Perform routine maintenance such as painting, drywall repair, and touch-ups

Assist with plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems as needed

Carry out manual repairs, including doors, locks, windows, and fixtures

Operate tools and equipment such as mowers, tractors, blowers, or power tools

Maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas in safe, organized condition

Move furniture, equipment, and supplies when required

Keep outdoor spaces—walkways, parking areas, garbage/recycling bins, and dog stations—clean and safe

Support other departments to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance requests

Conduct inspections and report issues related to safety and building systems

Follow all resort safety procedures and emergency guidelines

Take part in other maintenance projects as assigned

What We’re Looking For Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded

Comfortable using a wide range of hand and power tools

Valid driver’s license required

Proven maintenance or trades experience is an asset (certifications welcome)

Good communication skills and proficiency in English

Physically fit and able to lift moderate weight, bend, kneel, and be on your feet for long periods
