Patient Registrar at North Kansas City Hospital – North Kansas City, Missouri

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department supervisor and nursing administration, registers inpatients, outpatients and emergency services patients by recording medical, demographic and financial information. Escorts and directs patients and family members to their destination.

EXPERIENCE: General office experience/education required. Computer experience required. Prior registration experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Typing/keyboarding skills required. Customer service skills required. Medical terminology preferred.

OTHER: Available to work within a 24 hour hospital setting. Required to work some holidays.

EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent
