Detox Assistant (Part-Time) at Nexus Recovery Center – Dallas, Texas

POSITION: DETOX ASSISTANT
PROGRAM: Detoxification Services
SCHEDULE: Saturday and Sunday (Part-time), 7:00AM-3:00PM

PAY: $18.24 PER HOUR
EDUCATION: GED OR HIGHSCHOOL DIPLOMA
REQUIRED: CMA, CCMA, or CAN; Valid driver’s license from the State of Texas.
PROFICIENCIES: Organization, Stress Management, Medical Skills, and Computer Skills

POSITION SUMMARY:
Detox assistants provide supervision to clients in our substance abuse facility. They assist in creating a healing and safe environment for residents who may be trauma survivors. This is a fast-paced environment with a variety of responsibilities while helping individuals rebuild their lives. Applicants must have experience working in a culturally diverse environment. Some tasks include monitoring self-administration of medication, checking client’s vital signs, and maintaining medical charts.
