About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Slate CRM Systems is responsible for administering institution customer relationship management systems. The Director of Slate CRM Systems provides vision and leadership for the team responsible for development, innovation, maintenance, and support of the university CRMs and related software. The incumbent will contribute to and oversee the support of short- and long-term university goals using a data-driven strategy and utilizing data to make recommendations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties may vary and other duties may be assigned.)
- Oversee and direct the development, design, management, and maintenance of the CRM systems to support cross functional business processes, with a focus on automation of workflows and data-supported transactional processes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders to align CRM strategies with university objectives and priorities.
- Applies technical expertise to support functionality of and develop solutions for the CRM systems, reporting and analysis of CRM data.
- Manages and maintains CRM infrastructure as well as system integration with other applications.
- Collaborates with functional leads and stakeholders to develop and refine processes and CRM functionalities, such as electronic correspondence with prospective students, parents, educational partners, and professionals.
- Help to establish and maintain data standards to ensure data integrity and uniform reporting; monitors staff, faculty, and student use of CRM systems to ensure standards are upheld. Ensure data integrity and operational efficiencies through rules, automation, and auditing.
- Designs, tests, formats, quality assures, and analyzes standard, customized, and ad hoc management reports for leadership to support emerging initiatives and influence strategies supporting HU’s growth.
- Assists with analysis of data and statistics and with projections.
- Provides technical and user support and trains and supervises staff and faculty members to maximize database functions. Develops and maintains comprehensive CRM documentation.
- Supervises data operations team, including mentoring, coaching, staff development and CRM system end-user training.
- Maintains knowledge of CRM best practices and enhancements and continually evolves usage to improve interaction with prospective students, families, counselors, schools, donors, and external engagement.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Experiences with development and management of a CRM is required.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Database and integration experience.
- Ability to self-start and thrive in a lean-team environment
- Technolutions Slate CRM preferred.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- B.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of three years of experience in higher education administration or comparable field of work.
