Surgical Revenue Clerk at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

The Surgical Revenue Clerk is responsible for coordinating activities which pertain to the efficient scheduling and accurate record keeping of the patients who are admitted into the Surgical Suite. They are also responsible for accurate and timely documentation of post-op data and surgical charges.

Job Requirements:

Required: Associates Degree required, OR successful completion of two (2) years of post secondary education. Must be able to type 40+ adjusted words per minute. Must pass a medical terminology test with a minimum grade of 75%. Testing will be administered by Human Resources. Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience in a fast paced healthcare setting. Previous experience with data entry into computer systems/databases to generate billing revenue.

Preferred: Previous experience with clinical billing/charging.

Pay Range: $19.50-$30.93/hour
