Position Description:

Under the direction of the Population Health Data Analytics Supervisor, routes and files all patient documentation accurately and efficiently within the patient’s electronic medical record.

Requirements:

  • At minimum, an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Management, Health Administration or related field.
  • Certification as an RHIT, RHIA or in the process of obtaining is strongly preferred.
  • Two (2) years of medical office experience working with medical records.
  • Demonstrated organizational experience in a medical office.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Health Record and Practice Management Systems, preferably Medent.
  • Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and HIPAA.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, computer and multi-tasking skills required.
  • Proven ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
  • Must have own personal laptop and access to high-speed internet.

This is a remote position, but the candidate hired must live in Central New York.

Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00 DOE
