IT Senior Systems Analyst - Public Safety:
The IT Senior Systems Analyst - Public Safety is responsible for the overall technical support, configuration, maintenance, and administration of assigned applications and platforms for the Commerce City Police Department. Provides primary and subject matter expertise on assigned applications for the Police Department. This role will be the trusted IT partner to Police Department and will identify technology needs, gather business/technical requirements, evaluate current and future technologies and manage technical projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or closely related field and at least six years of experience in similar role required. Extensive experience in technical analysis, Tier 2/3 application administration/support, project management, technical documentation and quality management is required. Minimum of 1 certification preferred in any of the following areas: business analyst, project management or related technical/application. CJIS certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
