About the role

Our team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is looking for a dedicated, reliable and confident Security Officer to join our Security team at our luxury urban resort. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, team player committed to maintaining a safe and comfortable atmosphere for our guests and team members.

What you'll do

• Monitor surveillance systems and patrol assigned areas to detect any potential threats or unauthorized activities
• Interact professionally with guests and provide service when needed
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective response to emergencies
• Conduct proper inspections to ensure integrity of access points, equipment, and facilities`
• Ensure the safety of resort personnel, guests, and facilities
• Maintain knowledge and follow all emergency procedures

Qualifications

• Excellent observational skills with the ability to identify unusual or suspicious behavior
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to remain composed and make quick decisions under pressure
• Familiarity with security equipment and systems
• Able to withstand various physical activities throughout the workday
• Strong integrity and ethical standards
• Able to uphold resort standards of security and safety
• Excellent presentation and grooming standards
