Location: System Wide Support | Full-Time | 2:00pm - 10:30pm | Monday-Friday (On-Call Required)

- Compensation: Starting pay ranges between $33.59 - $50.39 per hour, with competitive rates based on experience and education.
- Schedule: Full-time, variable shifts; on-call required.

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations using proper imaging protocols and clinical judgment.

Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and ensure a safe, comfortable imaging experience.

Operate ultrasound and associated equipment accurately while adhering to safety guidelines.

Analyze and document diagnostic images to assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment planning.

Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including infection control and equipment safety.

Participate in emergency situations or changes in patient condition during imaging procedures.

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and care teams to support coordinated patient care.

Education:
-
Graduate of an AMA-accredited health science or diagnostic medical sonography program.
Experience:
-
Clinical imaging experience obtained through an AMA-accredited sonography program.
Licenses/Certifications:
-
ARDMS registered or registry-eligible.
-
New graduates must obtain registry within 1 year of hire.

On-the-job-trained staff must obtain registry within 2 years.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required at hire.
Skills & Abilities:

Strong communication and patient-interaction skills.

Ability to perform accurate, safe imaging within the legal and organizational scope of practice.

High attention to detail and professionalism.

Understanding of the patient care continuum and commitment to exceptional service.
- Continuous standing and walking for 8+ hour shifts.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, or transferring 50+ lbs.
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and reaching.
- Exposure to acoustic energy, vibration, cramped spaces, and imaging equipment.
- Regular exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hospital environment hazards.
- Variable hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays; on-call rotations required.
